Overview
This page summarizes how SchoolPickupLine handles school-related data. It is intended as a public overview for administrators, technology staff, and district reviewers.
Who controls the data
The school or district remains the controller of its student and operational data. SchoolPickupLine processes that information to provide, secure, maintain, and support the service.
Types of information used by the service
- Student names, grades, and pickup tags
- Sibling and carpool relationships configured by the school
- Queue and pickup activity entered by authorized personnel
- Usernames, roles, and related account information for authorized staff
- School configuration data such as colors, logos, announcements, and line settings
How the information is used
SchoolPickupLine uses this information only to operate the pickup workflow, display the live queue, support authorized users, maintain system records, and provide related support and troubleshooting.
No sale or advertising use
SchoolPickupLine does not sell student data and does not use student data for advertising.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed using trusted infrastructure and hosting providers necessary to operate the service. Public-facing documentation identifies Cloudflare-hosted infrastructure as part of the system environment.
Retention, export, and deletion
Schools may configure operational history retention within the product where supported. At the end of service, a school may request export or deletion of its data, subject to operational needs, legal obligations, and any signed agreement.
Security-minded access
Access to student and operational information is role-based and intended only for authorized school personnel.
